Refund policy

Last updated: August 19, 2026

Veravia offers a voluntary 30-day return policy for eligible products. This voluntary return policy operates in addition to, and does not replace, any mandatory statutory rights available to consumers under French law.

1. Applicable French Consumer Law

Consumer purchases are subject to the French Consumer Code (Code de la consommation).

For distance contracts, the statutory right of withdrawal is governed principally by Articles L221-18 to L221-28 of the French Consumer Code.

Article L221-18 of the French Consumer Code provides consumers with a statutory withdrawal period of 14 days for eligible distance contracts involving goods, generally starting from the day the consumer receives the goods.

Nothing in this policy is intended to exclude or restrict any mandatory statutory consumer right.

2. 30-Day Voluntary Returns

In addition to the statutory withdrawal right, Veravia accepts eligible change-of-mind returns within 30 days of receiving the order.

The item should generally be returned in its original condition, unworn and unused, with all original tags and packaging where applicable.

The 30-day period is a voluntary commercial return period offered by Veravia. It does not replace the statutory 14-day withdrawal right provided by Article L221-18 of the French Consumer Code.

3. Statutory Right of Withdrawal

Where the statutory right of withdrawal applies, the consumer may exercise this right within the statutory period provided by Article L221-18 of the French Consumer Code, subject to the legal exceptions provided by French law.

Under Article L221-23 of the French Consumer Code, goods subject to a withdrawal request must generally be returned without undue delay and no later than 14 days after the consumer has communicated the withdrawal decision.

4. Statutory Exceptions

The statutory right of withdrawal is subject to the exceptions set out in Article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code.

Where a statutory exception applies, the withdrawal right may not be available in accordance with applicable French law.

5. Faulty, Defective or Non-Conforming Products

If a product is defective, does not conform to the contract, or otherwise falls under a statutory legal guarantee, please contact us promptly.

Consumers may benefit from the legal guarantee of conformity (garantie légale de conformité) provided by Articles L217-3 et seq. of the French Consumer Code.

6. Return Request

Before sending a return, please contact us at hello@veravia.shop with your order number and details of your request.

We will provide the applicable return instructions.

Please do not send a return to an address that has not been confirmed by our customer service team.

7. Refunds

Where the statutory right of withdrawal is validly exercised, refunds will be handled in accordance with Article L221-24 of the French Consumer Code.

Where applicable, the refund will generally include the standard delivery charges paid by the consumer, subject to the conditions provided by French law.

The refund will generally be made using the same payment method used for the original transaction, unless otherwise agreed in accordance with applicable law.
